Requires state agencies to specify lumber, timber, and other forest products produced and manufactured in Florida for public works projects if available products are equal in price, fitness, and quality.

Prohibits state agencies from excluding sustainable building rating systems or national model green building codes listed in statute when requiring compliance for publicly owned building or facility construction and renovation projects.

Prohibits state agencies from excluding the most recent edition of the Green Plumbing Mechanical Code Supplement published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
