Single-family residential docks designed to moor up to two boats are exempt from lease fees for preempted areas equal to or less than 10 times the riparian shoreline or the square footage authorized under Board of Trustees rules, whichever is greater.

Shared single-family residential docks on property lines between two residences and designed to moor up to four boats are exempt from lease fees under the same calculation as single-family docks.

Multifamily residential docks designed to moor boats up to the number of units in the development are exempt from lease fees for preempted areas equal to or less than 10 times the riparian shoreline multiplied by the number of units.

Effective date is July 1, 2013.
