Amends Section 744.3701 to create a public records exemption for court records relating to settlement of claims on behalf of minors or wards, including petitions, guardian ad litem reports, and approval orders.

Restricts inspection of guardianship reports and settlement records to the court, clerk, guardian, guardian's attorney, guardian ad litem, ward (if at least 14 years old and not totally incapacitated), ward's attorney, minor (if at least 14 years old), and minor's attorney.

Authorizes courts to direct disclosure and recording of settlement-related records in connection with real property transactions or for other purposes the court allows.

Makes settlement records confidential and exempt from public records disclosure under Florida Constitution Article I, Section 24(a) and Section 119.07(1), except as specifically authorized.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and repeals on October 2, 2018, unless reenacted by the Legislature.
