Permits Class II institutional pharmacy formularies to include biologics, biosimilars, and biosimilar interchangeables in addition to medicinal drugs and proprietary preparations.

Allows pharmacists to dispense a substitute biosimilar product only if the FDA has determined it is biosimilar and interchangeable to the prescribed biological product and the prescriber has not expressed written, verbal, or electronic preference against substitution.

Requires pharmacists to notify patients of biosimilar substitutions using the same method as generic drug substitutions under Florida law.

Requires pharmacists in Class II or Modified Class II institutional pharmacies to document substitutions in the institution's written or electronic medical record system.

Mandates the Board of Pharmacy maintain a current public website list of biological products the FDA has determined to be biosimilar and interchangeable; effective July 1, 2013.
