Adds firefighters to the list of officers whose false personation is prohibited under Florida law as a felony of the third degree, with enhanced penalties for personation during commission of other felonies or if it results in death or injury.

Prohibits owning or operating motor vehicles marked with fire department insignia with intent to mislead others into believing the vehicle is an authorized fire department vehicle, unless the vehicle is owned or operated by the fire department itself.

Allows fraternal, benevolent, and labor organizations to use the words "fire department" in their official names as an exception to the false marking and insignia prohibitions.

Updates the Criminal Punishment Code to reflect the amended false personation statute under section 843.08.

Takes effect October 1, 2013.
