Authorizes judges to electronically sign arrest warrants if the complaint bears the affiant's signature, is supported by oath or affirmation, and if submitted electronically, uses reliable electronic means.

Establishes that an arrest warrant is issued at the time a judge affixes their signature or electronic signature to the warrant.

Authorizes judges to electronically sign search warrants under the same conditions required for arrest warrants: affiant's signature, oath or affirmation support, and reliable electronic submission if applicable.

Defines "electronic signature" as having the same meaning provided in section 933.40, Florida Statutes, for both arrest and search warrants.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
