Exempts from public records requirements information about participants or prospective participants in treatment-based drug court programs, including initial screening records, substance abuse screenings, behavioral health evaluations, and treatment status reports.

Makes the exempted information confidential under Florida Statutes s. 119.07(1) and Article I, Section 24(a) of the State Constitution.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, with automatic repeal on October 2, 2018, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Establishes that protecting this sensitive personal information prevents chilling effects on individuals seeking treatment and promotes participation in drug court programs while outweighing public disclosure benefits.
