Adds requirement for Department of Law Enforcement to disclose contents of expunged criminal history records to the subject of the record or Parole Commission upon receipt of a written, notarized request.

Maintains existing provision that expunged records retained by the department remain confidential and exempt from public records laws, accessible only by court order.

Applies to criminal history records of minors and adults ordered expunged by courts of competent jurisdiction under section 943.0585, Florida Statutes.

Takes effect July 1, 2013.
