Amends Florida Statute 166.0213 to authorize municipal governing bodies with 500 or fewer residents to hold meetings within 5 miles of the municipality's exterior jurisdictional boundary.

Allows municipalities to hold meetings at the county seat with the county governing body to discuss and act upon matters of mutual interest.

Both meeting locations must be prescribed by municipal ordinance or resolution.

Effective July 1, 2013.
