• Eliminates the prior "habitual traffic offender" exception from the basic driving with suspended license offense and creates specific penalty structures for habitual offender convictions based on underlying violation types.

• Updates cross-references in the Criminal Punishment Code and Florida Contraband Forfeiture Act to reflect revised sections regarding careless operation of motor vehicles and vehicles used in driving with suspended license offenses.
