Creates section 595.409, F.S. to exempt personal identifying information of applicants and participants in school food and nutrition service programs from public records disclosure requirements.

Exemption applies to information held by the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Department of Children and Families, or Department of Education.

Permits disclosure of exempt information to other governmental entities performing official duties or to any person with written consent from the applicant or participant.

Allows legal guardians to obtain confirmation of acceptance, approval dates, and other requested information without restriction.

Exemption subject to Open Government Sunset Review Act and shall be repealed October 2, 2018, unless reenacted by the Legislature.
