Amends Florida Statute 768.136 to limit liability for entities donating canned or perishable food to charitable or nonprofit organizations.

Expands the definition of "donor" to explicitly include public schools as entities eligible for liability protection when distributing food free of charge.

Defines "donor" to include persons, businesses, organizations, or institutions that own, rent, lease, or operate food preparation facilities, vending machines with prepared meals, or retail grocery stores.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
