Repeals s. 723.013, F.S. regarding written notification requirements in the absence of a prospectus.

Allows a mobile home purchaser to assume the seller's prospectus and rental agreement terms, or elect to accept a new prospectus from the park owner.

Authorizes mobile home park owners to increase rental amounts upon expiration of an assumed rental agreement, provided the increase is disclosed to the purchaser before execution of the rental agreement or occupancy (whichever occurs first) and is consistent with the seller's initial prospectus.

Requires park owners to provide purchasers with the seller's prospectus, a written explanation of prospectus terms, a copy of section 723.059, and a one-page summary before rental agreement execution or occupancy.

Mandates both purchaser and park owner sign a prospectus election form (at least 8.5" x 11", 14-point font, double-spaced) indicating whether the purchaser assumes the seller's prospectus or accepts a new one; park owner must maintain a signed copy for the duration of the prospectus.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
