Amends Florida Statutes section 1009.21 to add new criteria for classifying veterans as residents for tuition purposes at Florida's postsecondary institutions.

Qualifies veterans of the Armed Services of the United States, including reserve components, as residents for tuition if they attend a physical location of a Florida institution of higher learning or physically reside in Florida while enrolled in an online course at a Florida institution.

Applies to charter technical career centers, career centers operated by school districts, Florida College System institutions, and state universities.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
