Creates section 916.1065, Florida Statutes, to establish confidentiality protections for forensic behavioral health evaluations filed with courts.

Defines "forensic behavioral health evaluation" as any record derived from competency, substance abuse, psychosexual, psychological, psychiatric, psychosocial, cognitive impairment, sanity, or other mental health evaluations of an individual.

Exempts forensic behavioral health evaluations filed with courts from public records disclosure requirements under Florida Statutes section 119.07(1) and Article I, section 24(a) of the State Constitution.

Applies the exemption retroactively to evaluations filed with courts before, on, or after the effective date of the act.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
