Creates section 288.112, Florida Statutes, requiring the Department of Economic Opportunity to establish a dedicated web page collecting and publishing business-related data for Florida cities and counties by January 1, 2015.

Web page shall provide prospective employers and business owners with comprehensive information on business establishment costs, tax rates, fees, and permitting requirements across all Florida municipalities.

Department must collect all reasonably available local business information and request unavailable data from local government entities, who must notify the department of any changes to collected information as soon as practicable.

Collected information shall include millage rates, sales surtax rates, local business tax schedules, construction and impact fees, water and sewer connection fees, stormwater permits, sign ordinance requirements, building permit fees, and whether application information is available online.

Local government entities may voluntarily submit summaries of up to 1,500 words highlighting business advantages and including links to their websites; act takes effect July 1, 2014.
