Amends Florida Statutes Section 212.08 to add a new tax exemption for special diet food items intended as treatment of a diagnosed health disorder when sold by a licensed veterinarian

Expands existing medical exemption language to explicitly include remedies for cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of illnesses or diseases in animals, in addition to human beings

Adds new paragraph (i) to the medical exemptions subsection, with existing paragraphs (i) through (k) redesignated as paragraphs (j) through (l)

Exempts qualifying veterinary special diet foods and animal remedies from Florida's sales, use, and other transaction taxes

Effective date: July 1, 2014
