Amends Section 324.242, Florida Statutes to make personal identifying information and policy numbers for bodily injury liability insurance policies confidential and exempt from public records disclosure.

Allows the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to release policy numbers for accident-involved vehicles upon written request and a copy of the crash report to accident parties, their attorneys, or insurers' representatives.

Establishes the exemption applies to information held by the department before, on, or after October 11, 2007.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment by October 2, 2019 to avoid automatic repeal.

Takes effect contingent on HB 267 or similar legislation being adopted in the same legislative session and becoming law.
