Amends s. 1012.33, F.S. to authorize district school boards to reemploy retired instructional personnel under a 1-year probationary contract, with the option to convert to an annual contract upon successful completion.

Establishes that retirees are not eligible to receive professional service contracts, either under current law or under prior law before the bill's effective date.

Declares the Legislature's intent that the 2012 court ruling in Orange County School Board v. Rachman and Schuman was contrary to legislative intent and that retirees under s. 121.091(9) were never eligible for professional service contracts.

Requires that in civil actions or administrative proceedings, judgment be entered against classroom teachers who were formerly retired and then reemployed if they claim the district school board failed to award them a professional service contract.

Preserves the validity of any professional service contracts that were inadvertently awarded to retirees before the bill's effective date.
