Amends Florida Statutes section 322.141 to allow identification cards and driver licenses to display a medical alert logo on their face at the applicant's request.

Permits the medical alert designation for persons with any medical condition, expanding beyond the existing provision for insulin-dependent diabetes.

Requires the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to obtain proof of the claimed medical condition that the department deems appropriate during application or reissuance.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
