Creates section 790.176 of Florida Statutes, titled "Apollo's Law," requiring firearms sold or transferred by licensed dealers in Florida, or manufactured in the state for sale, to include or be accompanied by an approved firearm safety device.

Exempts purchasers who own a gun safe meeting state standards (with proof of purchase) or who purchase an approved safety device within 30 days before taking possession and present it with original receipt to the dealer.

Requires the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services to adopt rules by January 1, 2015, establishing minimum safety standards for firearm safety devices and gun safes to reduce firearm-related injuries to children 17 years old and younger.

Mandates that long-gun safes sold or manufactured in Florida that do not meet state standards be accompanied by a warning label in English and Spanish, displayed on packaging, descriptive materials, and the gun safe itself.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
