Creates section 316.0777, Florida Statutes, establishing a public records exemption for images obtained through traffic infraction detectors held by agencies.

Makes recorded images from traffic infraction detectors confidential and exempt from public records requests under Florida Statutes section 119.07(1) and the Florida Constitution Article I, section 24(a).

Permits disclosure of recorded images to criminal justice agencies for official duties, to individuals whose license plates are registered if not active criminal intelligence information, and to authorized researchers under privacy and security agreements.

Applies retroactively to recorded images held by agencies before, on, or after the effective date of the exemption.

Sunsets on October 2, 2019, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts the exemption; takes effect July 1, 2014.
