Sales tax under chapter 212, Florida Statutes may not be collected from 6:00 a.m. on July 25, 2015 through 6:00 a.m. on July 26, 2015 on retail sales of tangible personal property in Florida.

Tax exemption does not apply to online sales of tangible personal property conducted over the Internet.

Tax exemption does not apply to items not paid in full during the specified 24-hour period.

Department of Revenue authorized to adopt emergency rules to administer the sales tax holiday.

Act takes effect July 1, 2014.
