Law enforcement agencies must report monthly to the Department of Law Enforcement crimes affecting persons with disabilities, legally blind persons, and mobility-impaired persons, and report enforcement of section 316.1301 and related traffic laws to the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.

Driver improvement school courses, driver improvement courses for license suspension, and traffic law education programs must include study of section 316.1301 and traffic laws assisting legally blind and mobility-impaired persons.

Driver license examinations for Class E and commercial driver licenses must include at least one question testing knowledge of section 316.1301 and traffic laws to assist legally blind and mobility-impaired persons, with emphasis on pedestrian right of way during right turns.

Law enforcement officer basic skills certification courses and secondary school driver education programs must include the study of section 316.1301 and traffic laws to assist legally blind and mobility-impaired persons.

The act takes effect July 1, 2014.
