Exempts Alzheimer's disease research grant applications submitted to the Alzheimer's Disease Research Grant Advisory Board and related review records from public records disclosure requirements, except final recommendations.

Exempts board meeting portions discussing research grant applications from public meetings requirements under Florida's open meetings laws.

Requires the board to record all closed meeting portions, with recordings maintained by the board and subject to disclosure only with express written consent of the applicant or their representative, or by court order showing good cause.

Exemptions sunset on October 2, 2019, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts them under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.

Takes effect contingent upon HB 709 or similar legislation becoming law in the same legislative session.
