Requires nursing home facilities placed on the Nursing Home Guide Watch List to post clear and conspicuous signs at every facility entrance stating "NOTICE: THIS FACILITY IS CURRENTLY ON FLORIDA'S NURSING HOME GUIDE WATCH LIST" for the duration of their watch list placement.

Imposes sanctions on facilities that fail to post required signs, including citation for a class I deficiency and placement on a 6-month inspection visit cycle.

Mandates that facilities on the watch list provide written or electronic notice to the primary familial contact of each resident, including description of deficiencies, corrective actions taken, and cumulative days/percentage of days with conditional license status in the past 30 months.

Specifies that the Nursing Home Guide Watch List must identify facilities with conditional licensure status and those operating under bankruptcy protection, along with facility name, address, ownership, county, license expiration date, number of licensed beds, and deficiency descriptions.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
