Amends Florida Statutes § 112.532 to specify that law enforcement and correctional officers' rights apply when they are the subject of internal or external complaints.

Requires interrogations to be conducted under specific conditions including reasonable hours, single interrogator (unless waived), advance notice of investigation nature and complainants, and audio recording with transcripts available within 72 hours.

Officers under investigation must be provided complete copies of complaints, witness statements, incident reports, GPS information, and audio/video recordings before any investigative interview, with right to waive these provisions.

Establishes 180-day investigation completion deadline from when agency receives notice of alleged misconduct, with exceptions for criminal investigations, multijurisdictional cases, emergencies, and officer incapacity, and allows reopening if significant new evidence is discovered.

Prohibits retaliation against officers for exercising these rights and requires written notice of disciplinary actions before they take effect.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
