Licensed recreational vehicle dealers may obtain supplemental licenses to authorize off-premises sales at no charge for periods not exceeding 10 consecutive calendar days.

Dealers conducting off-premises sales outside of public vehicle shows must notify the local Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles office of the specific dates and location for the sale.

Dealers must provide staff at the temporary sales location, obtain all required local government permits, and secure property owner permission to operate at the site.

Dealers must display a conspicuous sign at the temporary location and prominently include their name and business address from their original license in all advertisements for the off-premises sale.

The act takes effect July 1, 2014.
