Creates section 627.6572, Florida Statutes, requiring health benefit plans providing pharmacy services to Medicaid recipients to allow licensed or permitted pharmacists and pharmacies to participate as pharmacy providers.

Participating pharmacists or pharmacies must agree to the health benefit plan's terms, conditions, reimbursement rates, and quality standards.

Defines "health benefit plan" by reference to section 627.6699 and "pharmacy services" by reference to section 465.003.

Specifies the section is self-executing and does not require or authorize agency rulemaking.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
