Allows one of the four required mathematics credits for high school graduation to be fulfilled with an Advanced Placement computer science course or a computer science course of appropriate rigor as determined by the State Board of Education.

Maintains existing requirements for Algebra I and Geometry, including end-of-course (EOC) assessments that constitute 30 percent of final course grades.

Permits industry certification courses leading to college credit to substitute for up to two mathematics credits.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
