Amends section 733.604, F.S. to clarify that accountings in estate proceedings must be filed with the clerk of the court to be kept confidential and exempt from public records requirements.

Maintains confidentiality exemptions for inventories of estates and elective estates filed with the clerk of court, applying to initial, amended, or supplementary inventories.

Permits disclosure of confidential inventories and accountings to personal representatives, their attorneys, interested persons as defined in statute, or by court order upon showing of good cause.

Exemptions apply retroactively to any inventory or accounting filed before, on, or after July 1, 2009.

Bill takes effect October 1, 2014, and saves the public records exemption from repeal under the Open Government Sunset Review Act.
