Amends section 1008.24, Florida Statutes, to maintain a public records exemption for information held by the Department of Education during active investigations of testing impropriety allegations.

Exempts from public disclosure the identity of schools or postsecondary institutions, personally identifiable information of personnel, and specific allegations of misconduct obtained during Department of Education investigations until the investigation concludes or ceases to be active.

Defines an investigation as concluded upon a finding of no impropriety, completion of a preliminary investigation under section 1012.796, completion of a law enforcement investigation, or referral to an employer with disciplinary authority.

Defines an active investigation as one that is ongoing with a reasonable, good faith anticipation that an administrative finding will be made in the foreseeable future.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment to prevent repeal on October 2, 2014; effective date is October 1, 2014.
