Amends s. 119.071, F.S. to establish that social security numbers of current and former agency employees are confidential and exempt from public records disclosure.

Allows disclosure of employee social security numbers in three circumstances: when expressly required by federal or state law or court order, to other agencies or governmental entities when necessary to perform duties and responsibilities, or with written employee consent.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act, with the exemption set to automatically repeal on October 2, 2014, unless the legislature reenacts it.

Effective date is October 1, 2014.
