Congratulates the Trenton High School Tigers football team for winning the 2013 Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A Championship on December 6, 2013, in Orlando, Florida, marking the first state championship in school history.

Trenton High School defeated top-ranked Blountstown High School 14-0 in the championship game while ranked fourth with an 11-1 record, gaining 199 yards offensively and allowing only 142 yards defensively.

Recognizes 31 named players including Stephen Smith, Brooks Martin, Melvin Adams, and others for demonstrating outstanding skill, sportsmanship, and competitiveness throughout the season.

Acknowledges Head Coach Andrew Thomas and eight assistant coaches, four junior varsity coaches, support staff members, and Principal Cheri Langford for their exemplary leadership and guidance.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the Trenton Tigers football team as a tangible token of the sentiments expressed.
