Designates Saturday, July 26, 2014, as "Day of the Cowboy" in the State of Florida.

Recognizes Florida's cattle ranching history beginning in 1521 when Ponce de Leon introduced cattle near Ft. Myers, making it the oldest in the nation.

Acknowledges Florida's cattle industry as among the 15 largest in the United States and its contribution to the state's growth and natural resource stewardship.

Honors cowboys for embodying values including honesty, integrity, courage, compassion, respect, strong work ethic, and patriotism, as well as their role as environmental stewards.

Notes that the United States Congress has previously declared a National Day of the Cowboy to celebrate the cowboy's contribution to America's heritage and culture.
