Prohibits health insurers, prepaid limited health service organizations, and health maintenance organizations from requiring contracted dentists to provide services at insurer-set fees unless those services are "covered services" under the applicable contract.

Defines "covered services" as dental care services for which reimbursement is available under a subscriber's contract, including services where reimbursement would be available except for contractual limitations such as deductibles, coinsurance, waiting periods, maximums, or frequency limitations.

Applies to contracts between dentists licensed under chapter 466 and health insurers, prepaid limited health service organizations, and health maintenance organizations.

Applies to contracts entered into or renewed on or after July 1, 2014.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
