Repeals section 776.013, Florida Statutes, which established a presumption of fear of death or great bodily harm and provided the "stand your ground" right to meet force with force in certain circumstances.

Amends section 776.012 to justify use of deadly force without duty to retreat only when necessary to prevent imminent death, great bodily harm, or forcible felony, removing the reference to circumstances permitted under the repealed section 776.013.

Updates section 776.032 to remove references to section 776.013 in the immunity provision for justifiable use of force from criminal prosecution and civil action.

Adds a definition of "dwelling" in section 790.15 as a building or conveyance with a roof designed for nighttime occupancy, removing the previous reference to the definition in repealed section 776.013.

Effective upon becoming law.
