Updates terminology in section 744.108 from "guardian's" and "attorney's" to "guardian" and "attorney" in fee provisions.

Allows fees and costs of attorneys appointed under section 744.331(2) or who rendered services to the ward to be paid from guardianship assets when compensation is reviewed or determined by the court.

Permits courts to determine reasonable compensation for guardians and attorneys without requiring expert testimony, though expert testimony may be offered and compensated if presented.

Modifies section 744.3025 to make guardian ad litem appointment discretionary (rather than mandatory) for minor settlements exceeding $15,000 if the court deems it necessary to protect the minor's interest, and adds confidentiality requirements to minor settlements.

Requires examining committee fees in incapacity proceedings to be paid from state funds as expert witness fees if the petition is dismissed, and requires petitioners found to have filed in bad faith to reimburse the state for these expert witness fees.
