Expands the definition of "donor" in Florida's food donation liability statute to explicitly include public schools that donate canned or perishable food to charitable or nonprofit organizations.

Reorders and clarifies the statutory definitions of "donor," "gleaner," "canned food," and "perishable food" in section 768.136, Florida Statutes.

Limits liability for public schools donating food by bringing them within the existing liability protections for food donors under the statute.

Makes grammatical corrections including changing "any" to "a" and "that" to "which" throughout the definitions section.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
