Exempts home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and photographs of current or former Department of Health personnel whose duties include determining social security disability eligibility, investigating or prosecuting complaints against health care practitioners, or inspecting licensed health care facilities from public records requirements.

Exempts names, home addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and places of employment of spouses and children of covered Department of Health personnel, as well as names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children.

Applies exemption only if personnel have made reasonable efforts to protect such information from being accessible through other public means.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and schedules automatic repeal on October 2, 2019, unless the Legislature reviews and reenacts the exemption.

Establishes that release of such personal identifying and location information could place Department of Health personnel and their families in danger from disgruntled individuals affected by the agency's regulatory actions.
