Florida legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the Constitution to call a convention for proposing amendments in three categories: fiscal restraints on the Federal Government, limiting federal power and jurisdiction, and limiting terms of office for federal officials and members of Congress.

The three proposed amendment categories are severable and may be counted individually toward the required two-thirds of state legislatures needed to call an Article V convention.

The application is automatically revoked if used to call or support a convention for any purpose other than the three specified amendment categories.

The application constitutes a continuing application that remains in effect under Article V until at least two-thirds of state legislatures apply for one or more of the three proposed amendment categories.

Copies of the memorial shall be sent to the President, President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, and all members of the Florida congressional delegation.
