Amends section 1008.24, Florida Statutes to make permanent the public records exemption for information related to Department of Education investigations of testing impropriety.

Maintains confidentiality of school or postsecondary institution identity, personal identifying information of personnel, and specific allegations of misconduct during active investigations.

Defines an investigation as concluded when no impropriety is found, a preliminary investigation under section 1012.796 concludes, a law enforcement investigation completes, or the matter is referred to an employer for disciplinary action.

Removes the exemption from the Open Government Sunset Review Act, eliminating the automatic repeal date of October 2, 2014.

Effective date: October 1, 2014.
