Re-creates the Welfare Transition Trust Fund within the Department of Education (FLAIR number 48-2-401), which was scheduled for termination on July 1, 2015 under the Florida Constitution.

Repeals subsection (3) of section 1001.283, Florida Statutes, which contained provisions for terminating the trust fund.

Extends the life of the trust fund based on legislative findings that it continues to serve an important public purpose and that existing public policy provides adequate parameters for its use.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
