Adds certified 911 public safety telecommunicators to the special risk class of the Florida Retirement System effective July 1, 2015.

Excludes 911 telecommunicators from eligibility for the adjustment in monthly retirement benefit provided under section 121.091(1)(a)2.

Clarifies that sheriffs and elected police chiefs are not required to be certified under law enforcement officer requirements.

Makes technical corrections to language regarding correctional officers, probation officers, and individuals with qualifying injuries in the special risk class.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
