Prohibits pari-mutuel permit applicants and permitholders from contributing to campaign accounts or political committees of candidates and officeholders for Governor, Attorney General, Chief Financial Officer, Commissioner of Agriculture, state senator, or state representative.

Defines "department officials" as the Secretary of Business and Professional Regulation, chief of staff, general counsel, and specified Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering positions including division director, deputy director, and various chiefs and administrators.

Prohibits department officials from holding or being a candidate for public office, taking active part in political campaigns, or holding other employment while employed by the department.

Prohibits department officials from accepting employment or entering contractual relationships with gaming or pari-mutuel industry entities for 4 years after terminating employment with the department.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
