Authorizes counties awarded funds from the Crime Stoppers Trust Fund to use such funds for purchasing and distributing promotional items to increase public awareness and educate the public about Crime Stoppers.

Makes technical grammatical corrections to section 16.555, F.S., including changing "Any" to "A," "which" to "that," and "their" to "its."

Clarifies that the department is the disbursing authority for distribution of funding to units of local government that apply for funding assistance.

Effective date is July 1, 2014.
