Revises the definition of "good cause" for voluntarily leaving work to include an exemption for victims of domestic violence whose discontinued employment is a direct result of domestic violence circumstances as defined in Florida law.

Requires domestic violence victims seeking unemployment benefits to provide evidence such as an injunction or protective order and demonstrate reasonable belief that future domestic violence is likely to occur at, en route to, or en route from their workplace.

Requires domestic violence victims to make reasonable efforts to preserve employment before voluntarily terminating, such as seeking protective injunctions, relocating, or requesting employer accommodations, unless such efforts would be futile or increase the risk of domestic violence.

Specifies that an employing unit's employment record may not be charged for benefits paid to individuals who voluntarily leave work due to domestic violence circumstances.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
