Creates a public records exemption for information furnished by persons or businesses to the Division of Emergency Management for emergency planning assistance purposes.

Exempts such information from Florida Statutes s. 119.07(1) and Article I, Section 24(a) of the Florida Constitution, with retroactive application to information held before, on, or after the effective date.

Identifies sensitive emergency planning information including alternate family meeting locations, business relocation plans, supplier contacts, and backup resources as requiring protection to encourage disaster plan participation.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment by October 2, 2019 to prevent automatic repeal.

Takes effect July 1, 2014.
