Allows members of the Florida Retirement System to purchase up to 5 years of retirement credit for periods of public employment in Florida or employment in charter schools, charter technical career centers, or nonpublic schools and colleges

Changes accreditation requirement for nonpublic schools and colleges from Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to accreditation by the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools and the National Council for Private School Accreditation

Permits purchase of 1 year of retirement credit for each year of creditable service completed under the Florida Retirement System
