Allows a medical alert logo to be placed on the face of identification cards or driver licenses for persons with medical conditions, at the applicant's request.

Expands existing insulin-dependent diabetes distinctive marking requirements to apply to other qualifying medical conditions.

Requires the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to require proof of the applicant's medical condition at the time of application for original license or reissue.

Effective date: July 1, 2014.
